Grade 8 Boys Basketball

The grade 8 boys basketball team was knocked out of the Fraser Valley's yesterday after a tough loss to Clayburn Middle. The team came into the Fraser Valley's as the #3 seed from the Fraser Valley East division. The season was full  great games, strong individual and team improvement and some big wins.  A special thanks needs to go to  Mr.Bird, James Morgan and Phill van Santen for making this season so successful. Well done young men.

Homestays Needed for Students from Bihoku High School

We will be hosting a group of Japanese students from March 24 - 28, 2012.  I would like to place two students with each homestay.  Each student will need their own bed, but not necessarily their own bedroom for this four night stay.  Are you a loving family who would like to treat our Japanese guests to a fabulous time while they are in Canada?  If so, please complete the Bihoku Host Family Application form and return it to us along with a current family photo as quickly as possible.  I would like to send these applications and photos to our friends in Japan within the next week and a half.  Act now, so you won't miss out!!

Monday Morning Meet & Greet

On Monday mornings from 9-10am we invite specific groups of parents and grandparents to come and have a cup of coffee and a visit with Principal Dave Shinness.  This is a casual time, with questions and comments back and forth relating to your family’s experience at Highroad.  It’s also a chance to connect with the families of your child’s classmates.  We understand that not every parent is available to come, but all are welcome.

Look HERE for your child’s grade to find out which date you are invited to attend.
