2008/2009 Sr. Boys Basketball

The 08/09 Sr. Boys basketball team finished off the year with a very impressive 30 and 8 season including a 10 and 0 record in league play. The team was ranked in the top 5 in the Province all year and played a very entertaining up tempo style of basketball. While the team lost the first game in the B.C.'s they pulled it together and won their last 3 for a 6th place finish in the Province.

This year’s team was not just about the basketball product on the floor. Our goal was to live our faith in all that we did. Through service projects with the Salvation Army and our community the team was able to not only grow closer as a team but also practically  serve other's in need. I was proud of the team time and time again as they represented our Savior and Lord both on and off the floor.

Special congratulations to a fine season and career for our grade 12's: Erez & Arie Nakagawa, Brandon & Jordan Grimmard and Chris Mader. A special thanks needs to go to Sean Bosko who came in for the stretch drive and the playoffs as an assistant coach. I also want to thank the fans who supported us through a very exciting season.
