HighRoad Academy

At Highroad, we are working hard to streamline fundraising efforts.  It's not pleasant or effective for families to be bombarded with requests for money or goods!  Yet we all want to do what we can to help our school's efforts to meet needs.  As a result, we are committed to limiting fundraising efforts that raise the most money for a moderate amount of parent, student and staff time spent.  We are pleased to present this leaner, more effective palette of fundraising efforts.

We raise funds for three areas: for the student, for the school, and for the community. 

Fundraisers that go to Student Reserve Accounts*:
•    Gift Cards
•    Purdy’s Christmas and Easter contests
•    Wealthy Schools Revolution

Fundraisers for school projects:
•    Coupon book – contest with cash prizes.  This year's project is the completion of the playground.
•    Fundraiser for Missions – one large event in January

Fundraisers for our community:
•    Salvation Army Christman food drive
•    Jeans day for Children’s Hospital (also 10% of coupon books is given to VCH)

Each fundraiser has it's own page describing the fundraising effort.  Update bulletins will be posted in News as well as on the individual fundraising pages.

*Student Reserve Accounts is a system operated by Highroad to help students raise money for Highroad expenses not related to tuition: field trips, athletic and music fees, missions trips, fundraising donations, graduation expenses.  As money is made through these three fundraisers, the amount is deposited to individual student accounts.  Families may then request that funds be applied to specific expenses.
