Our School is born out of a desire to educate children from a biblical, Christian perspective Glad Tidings Church started Highroad Academy on its premises in 1978 with 35 students from grades 1-10. Highroad Academy has been growing and changing with its eye on the future. What began as a small, one church school now includes families from a wide variety of Christian experiences. Our strong roots have helped cultivate today’s healthy, vibrant atmosphere.

The Foundations of Highroad:

1. Passion for God
   It is the goal of Highroad Academy that each student will develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. An integral part of this development is prayer and worship, which is incorporated into school life through devotions, chapel and classroom activities.
2. Biblical World View
   God is an integral part of every area of our life. We are committed to interpreting our world from a biblical perspective and acting as stewards of the wonderful creation God has given us.
3. Personal Development
   Highroad is committed to working in all areas of a student's life. We believe that every person is responsible to develop the gifts and talents which God has given, whether in academics, fine arts, or conduct.
4. Servant hood/Leadership
   God's word mandates that we are to serve those around us. We are committed to developing attitudes of servant hood and skills of Christian leadership in the lives of the students entrusted to us.
