At Highroad Academy, our high school department covers grades 7-12. It is our goal that students feel safe and supported on their high school journey. These are critical years where students are learning a lot about themselves as individuals and as learners, and our goal is to equip them academically, emotionally, and spiritually for whatever their ‘next’ will be beyond the walls of Highroad Academy. Our team of dedicated and passionate educators strive to model life-long learning as they build positive relationships with students in our compassionate community.
We believe learning happens all the time and in a variety of settings. Highroad graduates have unlimited opportunities to pursue their passions and develop their skills. Whether they are working in the Highroad Garden, earning volunteer hours with our many community partners, gaining work experience, or running an activity station at our annual Math Mayhem event, our students develop a wide array of skills to prepare them for whatever path they choose in their future. One of the common themes we hear from our alumni is how well prepared they have felt to face post-secondary studies, trades, and employment opportunities because of the foundation they received at Highroad.
